COCKTAIL RECIPE
B-52
B-52 is an iconic shot cocktail made with layers of coffee liqueur, cream liqueur and orange liqueur. Its sweet and creamy flavor makes it one of the most ordered shots in bars.
The B-52 shot cocktail is thought to have originated in Canada in the 1970s. According to the most common story, it was created by a bartender working in a hotel bar in the province of Alberta. Thanks to its layered appearance and sweet aroma, it quickly became popular in bar culture.
“Sometimes the smallest things can have the biggest impact.”
The cocktail is named after America's famous bomber, the B-52 Stratofortress. Its layered appearance is considered to be strong and striking, which is why this name was chosen.
Over time, the B-52 has become one of the most recognized shot cocktails worldwide. In some bars, there is also a "Flaming B-52" version, which is served with the top layer burned off.

Bartender Tips
