COCKTAIL RECIPE
Fernandito
Fernandito - A refreshing but slightly bittersweet long drink made with fernet and cola. It is one of Argentina's favorite cultural drinks, a cocktail that uses simple ingredients to great effect.
Fernandito is a popular cocktail born from a mixture of cola with Fernet Branca, a bitter liqueur of Italian origin. Initially, Fernet spread throughout the country in the early 20th century with the Italian communities immigrating to Argentina and soon gained an important place in local culture.
From the 1970s to the 1980s, in areas like CΓ³rdoba with a large youth population, people started mixing bitter Fernet with cola to make it more drinkable. This simple but delicious idea spread quickly and became the symbolic drink of Argentina under the name Fernandito.

In time, a large portion of Fernet Branca production began to be consumed in Argentina, with the country consuming about two-thirds of the world's Fernet.
